Symmetry Hunter collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no backend. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Photos you take or select are analyzed on your device by the app's built-in geometry engine. They are never uploaded anywhere. Saved finds (the photo, its classification, and the date) are stored only in the app's local storage on your phone.
If you grant location access, the app attaches the location where a pattern was photographed to that saved find, so your collection can show where you found it. Location data is stored only on your device. The app works fully without location access.
The optional "Full Collection" unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive no personal or payment information from it.
Planned community features (a shared pattern registry and discovery map) will be strictly opt-in. If and when they ship, this policy will be updated first, and nothing will be shared without your explicit action. The design goal is unchanged: your photos stay on your device.
